ABOUT US

Welcome to your local Thailand travel source for Chiang Mai and throughout Thailand. Neil and Belle are based in Chom Thong, Chiang Mai Provence, near Doi Inthanon National Park. And through my local wife Benjarat (Belle), my extended Thai family and friends, we will bring all the best local places and tips to help you travel Thailand.

We grew up on opposite sides of the world, but finally met in Thailand in 2010. Thailand brought us two together. We got married, moved to Malaysia for work, then California, then back to Thailand.
I acquired my love for the outdoors, recreation, and seeing as much as I could growing up in California. I also have had a love for photography since I was a young lad. In college in San Diego I started traveling the world. Costa Rica, Europe, Canada and Mexico. Later I finally found my way to Asia.
Belle attended Chiang Mai University, and received a degree in Japanese, which she used as a flight attendant for Japan Airlines.
Being a flight attendant for Japan airlines, she was able to travel throughout Asia and Hawaii, creating her love for traveling. After a long distance romance that started in 2010, we got married in 2011 in Las Vegas. The following year we would have our Thai wedding ceremony.
Now we call Chom Thong city our home. A peaceful existence in the foothills on the way to Doi Inthanon National Park. I now get to experience all the great things there are with my extended family of locals. Our goal is to pass that information on to you. From original articles by us and favorite recommendations from other expert sources.

We only recommend places and products that we have experienced and used. And we try to keep it local, and support our favorite local businesses, like Rim Nara Cafe in Mae Rim.

Our passion to travel Thailand is why we have created this site so we can share what we have learned with our audience. Hopefully giving you the desire to travel Thailand if you have not already.
You can be confident we enjoy everything we talk about. For more about us and this website, see our About Us page.
