This website is run by Neil and Benjarat. So about us. We grew up on opposite sides of the world, but finally met in Thailand in 2010. Thailand brought us two together. We got married, moved to Malaysia, then California, then back to Thailand. Later I finally found my way to Asia.

I acquired my love for the outdoors, recreation, and seeing as much as I could growing up in California. I also have had a love for photography since I was a young lad. In college in San Diego I started traveling the world. Costa Rica, Europe, Canada.

In 2010 I had a chance to visit my friend in Chiang Mai Thailand. He had moved there to teach English, as one does. That changed my life. That first day in Thailand I felt like for the first time I was truly in a different place.

All the busy streets, smells, temples, great food, friendly people, had me hooked. Oh, and the massages!

As Anthony Bourdain said of Thailand, this is what I felt like.

I remember the moment I first realized I’ve been living my whole life in black and white. It was like discovering a color I never knew existed before. Asia had ruined my for life.

Anthony Bourdain

Being a flight attendant for Japan airlines, she was able to travel throughout Asia and Hawaii, creating her love for traveling. After a long distance romance that started in 2010, we got married in 2011 in Las Vegas. The following year we would have our Thai wedding ceremony.

About Our Blog
Wedding Thailand

Our first ‘adventure’ living together was in Malaysia in 2011, where I had taken a job for a year. There was were able to travel throughout Asia together, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, and of course Thailand.

We both love to travel anywhere, and act like we live here, to experience everyday life as locals do. Of course we love seeing the tourist spots too. My wife and her extended family have lived in Chiang Mai most of their lives, and we now share our time at our house in Chiang Mai (Chom Thong), and California.
