October 1, 2025 - October 28, 2025
- The Kathina, also known as the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, is a significant annual event in Theravada Buddhism, marking the conclusion of the three-month rains retreat (Vassa) for monks and nuns.
- During this ceremony, lay supporters make offerings of the four requisites (food, clothing, shelter, and medicine) to the monastic community to replenish their supplies after the retreat.
