Japanese duo YOASOBI is making their way to Bangkok after an eventful year performing at festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. YOASOSBI, which is composed of musician-producer Ayase and singer-songwriter Ikura, have composed hits like “Yoru ni Kakeru”, which topped Japanese music charts in 2019, and have also written songs for anime series like “IDOL” for Oshi no Ko. Tickets are already live and priced starting at THB 3,800.

YOASOBI, the famous duo artist with their debut song “Into The Night (Yoru ni Kakeru)” released in November 2019 immediately attracted attention achieving #1 on numerous streaming charts in Japan with current total streams surpassing1.1 billion for the first time ever. Released April, 2023, the opening theme song for TV animation “Oshinoko” –“Idol” was on top of the Billboard JAPAN’s Combined Song Chart JAPAN Hot 100for twenty-one consecutive weeks which exceeded their longest top charting record. Internationally, it became the first J-pop song to be #1 on the Billboard The Global Excl. U.S. , Apple Music’s Top 100: Global, and YouTube music charts TOP 100 songs Global breaking records for Japanese pop music one after another. The same year in October, the highly anticipated third EP THE BOOK 3, that recorded their year and half of activities was released. YOASOBI’s first Asia tour “YOASOBI ASIA TOUR 2023-2024” took place from December.
2023 to January 2024, tickets selling out at each location. They performed at one of the biggest music festivals worldwide –“Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival” in April 2024along with their first solo show in Los Angeles and San Francisco where tickets were completely sold out in thirty minutes. They also performed in the Chicago-born, now international festival (Europe, South America, etc.) “Lollapalooza” and solo shows in New York and Boston in the United States. In Japan, they are celebrating their fifth anniversary in October and a first dome tour in the fall of 2024. YOASOBI continues to stay active in both Japan and internationally becoming a icon for J-pop artists heading out into the world.
